
THE slaying of more than 20 journalists in Maguindanao should not keep the members of the media from fulfilling their job of providing information to the public.
Archbishop Jose Palma of Palo made the appeal over the weekend in reaction to the Maguindanao massacre that claimed the lives of at least 64 people.
“My point here is that the horrendous crime should not deter our media people from doing their job for they proclaim the truth just like any evangelization. Media is doing a wonderful service in proclaiming the truth. But sometimes, we have to put ourselves to danger,” Palma said.
